The ICCRC is designated by the government of Canada to regulate Canadian immigration, citizenship and international student advising services.

In order to become a immigration consultant, you must obtain the obtain proper designations.  You will be required to pass the Full Skills Examination administered by Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC). Qualified service providers of these regulated professions are known as Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCICs) and Regulated International Student Immigration Advisors (RISIAs) .

According to PayScale Canada , the average salary for an Immigration Consultant is C$46,767 per year. The average annual salary for immigration consultant ranges from $30,732 to $66,965.  Experience has a moderate effect on pay for this job, and common health benefits such as dental, medical and vision are available for all professionals in this field.

4. How to become an immigration consultant?

To register with the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC) and become a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC), there are several requirements you need to meet.

You need to have the Knowledge of Canadian Immigration and Refugee Law; clean police background checks for all countries you have lived in for 6+ months since you were 18 years old; meet a certain language test standard (for instance, a score 6.5 in listening, reading, writing and speaking in IELTS ); complete a post-secondary accredited program, such as the Immigration Consultant 玩嘉电竞 we offer at Bay & Queen  Campus and Mississauga Campus ; and pass the ICCRC Full Skills Exam . You also need to obtain a citizenship or permanent residence of Canada or Indian Status.
